On average most people require regular 4 or 6 months cleaning and check-up. The Hygienist will also review the patient’s medical history, take appropriate x-rays, maybe screen for oral cancer, periodontal disease, decay and dental diseases. They will then scale and polish your teeth.
Your hygienist will provide a customized oral health care information plan (“you need to floss more, use tooth mousse or other useful dental care products”). The hygienist always works with the dentist to inform them of their findings, while the dentist examines and x-rays your teeth.

Dental therapists provide oral health assessment, prevention, treatment and management services for children and adolescents up to age 18, in collaboration with dentists and other health care professionals, and in partnership with individuals, whānau and communities.

Rebecca is highly experienced and skilled in offering advanced facial rejuvenation treatments. She is a clinical Trainer in both NZ and Australia for an Australian Distributor of Swiss dermal filler products – Teosyal.
Her 12 years of nursing experience have included practicing in the specialties of oral and Maxillo-Facial surgery, Dermatology and plastic surgery. For the past 4 years she has focused solely on Cosmetic medicine and frequently attends conferences and experts days in New Zealand and Internationally to bring the latest in techniques and treatments to both her clinical training and private clientele.
She will be visiting fortnightly, offering advanced treatments using Teosyal dermal filler, Dysport anti-wrinkle treatments, provides skincare assessments and recommends Teoxane Cosmeceutical skincare .
